our name is changing ever so slightly

They say change is a good thing. Some say that change is necessary. And some postulate that change is inevitable. Well whatever it actually might be, we've got a change underway that we hope will be good, bring necessary improvements, and lead inevitably to better communication and access to information in our songwriting community.

Whats it all about?

Well for reasons that have been slightly, er, somewhat, well, yeah, ok, downright forced upon us, our domain name is changing. Try the old domain name, you'll see we don't really have a choice at the moment. Seems we have a little bit of business trouble with the company that registered our domain and now seems to have forgotten how to maintain it. Well, enough of that for now.

Our email is also updated- same names, but use @TheSongNet.org as the domain.

New Blog!

Here's a quick intro and hello to all- and our new blog! The Internet gives us so many different ways to connect to and communicate with each other, it's difficult to pick just one.

We've had a Yahoo based website since 1998, and our own domain and website since 2000 or 2001 (sometime around then). This year, with a complete reload and redesign of our main website, we've added a blogspot blog to post info in a more interactive format than the email postings that go out to everyone.
